Why is there a need to be in love ?

Its True That...
Hate Begets Hate.
By the same logic, it should be ...
Love Begets Love.
But It's a False.
Instead...
Love Begets Pain
LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL AS A ROSE ... and is a source of unimaginable pain when pricked by the fact of its failure.
Why is there a need to be in love ?
Can't our sole be peaceful enough to be in oneness of it's own. Why is there a need to call for it and make one's heart sprint with things it hasn't attempted before.
Sanidhya has messed it up!
He has disgraced himself of trying to attempt to have something which never belonged to him.
He knew it from before but still tried to make her own... Only qualifying to be a part of shame.
He now stays alone again!

Shadow Walk

Have you ever observed darkness?
It's lazy.
And its companion - 'Silence'.
And for her, it was to be her shadow.
Hershey was following her shadow as she strolled down the streets of Delhi.
It was midnight and she was numb to think of anything else, but her.
She walked one direction.
Her heart was thumping ...it thumped hard and the silence made her to attend to it with extreme vigor.
Trying to hold her heart with all the strength she had, she was making herself believe of what she does was incorrect.
Couldn't really though!.
Unable to tame her heart she knocked at her mind looking for a reason of validating her belief.
With each step she took, she tried to walk away from Sameers's thought. Unknowingly walking a step closer to him.
As water when beaten shudders only to merge with it again, sameer's thought to hershey's mind was the same.
Was sameer to be blamed for her emotional turmoil. No.
Neither suyash was!
She had been in love with suyash for long and they were looking at getting married.
It was time for her to look at herself assiduously.
Here is why i asked you - "ever observed darkness?"
Darkness enables you to befriend silence.
It allows you to meet and know yourself in complete.
Meeting Your Inner Self Can Be A Wonderful Introduction!
A striking difference that darkness has with daylight is that, the shadow it casts of you is darker than that in daylight.
And unlike daylight, where your shadow follows you, darkness allows you to follow your shadow.
Hershey's shadow was her inner self and that was what she has to follow.

Between Sheets of Power

Sleeping with power is the closest some women can get to acquiring it themselves. That may explain why men like Silvio Berlusconi become sexual magnets for younger women

If a powerful man exists, there’s got to be a woman somewhere waiting to sleep with him. Power is surely the most potent aphrodisiac in the world, as is evident from the numbers of beautiful women who gravitate towards powerful men.

Apart from Italy’s prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, many other high-flying men are also famous for dallying around with young, beautiful women. Eighty-four-year-old Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy, has had a succession of younger girlfriends and now plans to marry a 24-year-old. Mick Jagger, the 60-something Rolling Stones icon, always has a young woman hanging onto his arm, and Donald Trump, the portly American business mogul, has a wife 24 years his junior. It’s easy to understand why women are drawn to powerful men.

After all, thousands of years of evolution have led us to seek out whoever offers us the best deal in life, even when it comes to mating. Charles Darwin was the first to make this connection by suggesting that our mating characteristics evolved and spread through populations depending on how much they improved our ability to reproduce.

This process of “sexual selection” doomed the lesser males to an evolutionary dead end even as their powerful rivals passed their genes to posterity — so powerful men of high status throughout human history have attained very high reproductive success, leaving a large number of offspring, legitimate and otherwise. Moulay Ismail the Bloodthirsty, the last Sharifian emperor of Morocco, stands out quantitatively, having left more offspring — 1,042 — than anyone else on record.

In any case, which woman wouldn’t want the benefits bestowed by social, economic and political power? Let’s face it, explicit power is still more or less a male prerogative, which is why the reverse situation — men being attracted to powerful women — just isn’t as commonplace.

Many believe that women who gravitate towards men who have power do so because they’re held back by society from getting any of their own. Sleeping with power is the closest some women can get to acquiring it themselves; basking in reflected glory is not such a bad option after all. LIAISONS with famous and powerful men are a form of currency, providing women an entry point into public life.

They can earn woman publicity; provide a lift to her pet causes (Jim Carrey girlfriend Jenny McCarthy’s battle against childhood vaccination certainly gained impetus); and act as a business opportunity: Seinfeld’s ex-girlfriend Shoshanna Lonstein had her own line of lingerie that was popular in large part because of her association with Jerry. This situation is perpetuated by all of us, who can’t help but give weight to the association. Apart from the huge high certain women get from luring a powerful man, females drawn to powerful males are on the lookout for safety.

Psychologists say that this sort of relationship is virtually sado-masochistic in nature, both at the interpersonal and sexual level. Being under the influence of a strong, controlling presence may evoke the feeling of safety and protection associated with childhood. In bed too, a submissive female partner enables the powerful male to live out his fantasies of dominance.

This sexual submissiveness, say experts, is a psychological phenomenon referred to as “identification with the aggressor”. “This is a way used by such women to psychologically diminish their own sense of powerlessness, helplessness and sense of dependency that often has its roots in early life experiences and reflects fantasies connected to caretaking experiences that may have been traumatic,” says Madhu Sarin, a Delhi-based psychoanalyst in private practice. Those who can’t resist the lure of a rich, powerful man rubbish this notion.

They insist that money acts like an aphrodisiac, that a rich man is successful, confident and goes for what he wants, which translates to being fantastic in bed. This is supported by a new scientific discovery about human sexuality — that the number and frequency of a woman’s orgasms is directly related to her partner’s wealth. So those of us who may have taken consolation in the notion that the beautiful women involved in relationships with powerful men were doing it for the lifestyle, and simply enduring the sex, are going to be disappointed. In this case, the honey truly lies with the money.

WHY POWERFUL MEN INDUCE MORE ORGASMS

Women's ability to have powerful orgasms must have an evolutionary basis, say psychologists Thomas Pollet and Daniel Nettle of the University of Newcastle, UK. They believe everything about the way we flirt, court, have sex and bring up our children is strongly influenced by our genetic history. Powerful orgasms among women, they say, must have evolved for a reason. It could be an evolutionary adaptation that serves to discriminate between males on the basis of their quality. If so, then it should be more frequent in females paired with high-quality males.

White World

Title ' White World' courtesy film named auro, starring Mr. Bachhan where he constructs a  globe which milks pure white in colour with unseen boundaries. The imagination is hard to be carved in actual reality, having single boundary  just that of the seashores and the letters posted by the waves informing of the romantic weathers that sets in from time to time.

Revelations from wikileaks, which may be convincing, makes me to think hard on the very existence of diversified human race (holistically) which though one, are ever ready to cut throats of their opponents and sew to patch divides.

The leaks up till now has cued confusions and latent discomfort within democracies and related subjects under purview. Alternately tracking the happenings due to these leaks, i feel that we should strive to be a part of  a "mass of common's" with no regional dialect, political ambitions, geographical conquest and other drives which may lead to global imbalance.

As i write this article, wanting to support the thought propagated, latently i am confident of its impracticality; such is the satire attached to the thought.

Just wish that what i've been taught in profession of how to make impossible as I M Possible, someone somewhere is able to rewrite the script of our world contrary, to the creation of today's complex world.

Prostitution- White Collard

Prostitution- What is it?...

A naive thought may confine it into crude terms as " offering sex". But, a few may think the way i may put it now by saying that, prostitution is something which every one relates to now-a-days and we all are prostitutes.

Being a white collard employee i often feel that i am too a part of clean prostitution. 'Clean' since well educated, sophisticated but possessing those basic qualities which a prostitute may have.

Reasons and Similarities:

- Its mandatory for an employee to sell himself during interviews, same as a prostitute may do to entice her customer.
-On loyalty meter employees fail to score since they are least loyal esp. when it gets down to aspire for packages.
- As a prostitute a woman is okay with the concept of being fucked by multiples her entire life and as professional we cannot argue with our gods against working during odd hours.
-At the time when she droops down and no one to avail her service its time for her to retire, which again is same in case of professionals. Companies expect horses and not stagnant working machines to be a part of their work chain.

Above, only are a few similarities and i am sure reading this crude article you are remembered of a few more.

To conclude, to hate those being in prostitution and the profession as a whole do get reminded of your doings and the situations which you may be a subject as similar to those in 'Real Fleshy World'.

Hate the profession and not the professional!!

Blood Diamond-Ensure your Purchase isn't one of those

WHAT ARE CONFLICT DIAMONDS?

Conflict diamonds are diamonds illegally traded to fund conflict in war-torn areas, particularly in central and western Africa. The United Nations (UN) defines conflict diamonds as "...diamonds that originate from areas controlled by forces or factions opposed to legitimate and internationally recognized governments, and are used to fund military action in opposition to those governments, or in contravention of the decisions of the Security Council." These diamonds are sometimes referred to as "blood diamonds."

BACKGROUND

Conflict diamonds captured the world's attention during the extremely brutal conflict in Sierra Leone in the late 1990s. During this time, it is estimated that conflict diamonds represented approximately 4% of the world's diamond production. Illicit rough diamonds have also been used by rebels to fund conflicts in Angola, Liberia, Ivory Coast, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo (also known as Congo Brazzaville). (read more)
Today, the flow of conflict diamonds has been reduced to considerably less than 1%.

ELIMINATING CONFLICT DIAMONDS

Today 74 governments have enshrined into their national law the Kimberley Process Certification System, and now more than 99% of the world's diamonds are from conflict free sources. However, even one conflict diamond is one too many. The diamond industry continues to work with governments, NGOs and the UN to strengthen the Kimberley Process and the System of Warranties.

In July 2000, the global diamond industry made clear to the international community its zero tolerance policy towards conflict diamonds. Dedicated to eradicating the trade in conflict diamonds, it worked closely with the United Nations, governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as Global Witness and Partnership Africa Canada to create the Kimberley Process Certification System. This system was formally adopted in 2003 and guards against conflict diamonds entering the legitimate diamond supply chain. The diamond industry also adopted a voluntary System of Warranties to assure consumers that their diamonds are from sources free of conflict.
While diamonds have been used to fund conflict, the problem is not the diamonds themselves but the rebels who exploit diamonds (along with other natural resources) to achieve their illicit goals. The vast majority of diamonds come from countries at peace. These countries have been able to invest the revenue from diamonds into the development of infrastructure, schools and hospitals for the good of the communities in which diamonds are found. These countries include Australia, Botswana, Canada, Namibia, Russia, South Africa and Tanzania.
Today, more than 99% of the world's diamonds are now from conflict free sources and are officially traded under the UN mandated Kimberley Process. (read more)

"Diamonds are a unique resource, evoking beauty and eternal love. In recent years, pictures of maimed children have threatened to overwhelm these traditional positive images, when rebel groups in Africa used diamonds to finance their wars and unspeakable brutalities against civilian populations. Aroused by these conflicts, the international community mobilized to ensure people living in countries with abundant diamond deposits receive the benefits of their patrimony.

Conflict diamonds came to the attention of the world media during the extremely brutal conflict in Sierra Leone in the 1990s. The UN, governments, the diamond industry and non-governmental organizations (such as Global Witness, Amnesty International and Partnership Africa Canada), recognized the need for a global system to prevent conflict diamonds from entering the legitimate diamond supply chain and thus helping to fund conflict.

Under the Kimberley Process, diamond shipments can only be exported and imported within co-participant countries in the Kimberley Process. No uncertified shipments of rough diamonds will be permitted to enter or leave a participant's country. This ring-fences conflict diamonds and as such ensures they are unable to enter the legitimate diamond supply chain and thus, cannot be used for illegitimate purposes.

Outraged in the late 1990's that proceeds from diamond sales financed arms purchases and prolonged insurrections, in Sierra Leone and Angola, which were some of the most brutal of the past decade, the international community acted. By 2003 the international community through the participants in the Kimberley Process, bringing together industry, governments and civil society, mobilized governments to ban trade in rough diamonds funding African conflicts. Called the "Kimberley Process Certification Scheme" the ban ended those African conflicts financed by "blood" diamonds. Based on the respect for human dignity, the negotiators found the following common interests to win support for an international ban on trade in rough diamonds used to finance war and rebellion:

·         First, in memory of those who died in Sierra Leone, in Angola, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other African countries in conflicts fueled by rough “Conflict’ Diamonds;”
·         Second, to end the killing in on-going conflicts in Africa;
·         Third, to save the children of Africa whose lives would be threatened by future conflicts fueled by conflict diamonds;
·         Fourth, to ensure those countries which depend on diamonds for their development and economic well-being will benefit from their patrimony; and
·         Fifth, to assure consumers the diamonds they wish to enjoy are without the taint of conflict.

THE KIMBERLEY PROCESS

In November 2002, 52 governments ratified and adopted the Kimberley Process Certification System, which was fully implemented in August of 2003.
Kimberley Process participants undergo periodic reviews, along with peer monitoring to ensure compliance. Furthermore, all rough diamond sales are independently audited, and are also subject to separate governmental regulations. Any country that is found not to be in compliance can be sanctioned by the Kimberley Process.

Today, 74 governments, in partnership with the diamond industry and NGOs, are committed and legally bound to the UN-mandated process. Kimberley Process participants currently account for well over 99% of the global production of rough diamonds.

Through the worldwide implementation of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme we have begun to fulfill the international community's obligation to those who have suffered in Africa's wars by banning the trade in conflict diamonds. We have eliminated conflict diamond financing in Sierra Leone and are committed to bring the proceeds from the diamond trade to benefit the people of Sierra Leone, Angola and Liberia as well as all other diamond producing countries such as Botswana to help themselves support economic development of their countries."
Ambassador J.D. Bindenagel, Former U.S. Special Negotiator for Conflict Diamonds

They developed an agreement called the Kimberley Process, which requires participating governments to ensure that each shipment of rough diamonds be exported/imported in a secure container, accompanied by a uniquely numbered, government-validated certificate stating that the diamonds are from sources free of conflict.

Feels so refreshing to b an 'INDIAN'- Indians all over

Hope 1 day i make a mark for myself... here's why

Washington, April 30 (IANS) Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Nobel prize winner Amartya Sen are among nine Indians who figure in Time magazine's annual list of 100 most influential people, while Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan tops its 100 Alumnae list.
Manmohan Singh finds himself in the 19th spot in the Leaders list headed by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva with US president Barack Obama in the fourth place.
As India's finance minister from 1991 to 1996, Manmohan Singh 'released India's potential for the benefit of its people. Now, as prime minister, he is guiding India into the ranks of the great powers', wrote PepsiCo's Indian American chairperson Indra Nooyi.
Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar gets the 13th place among 25 'Heroes' headed by former US president Bill Clinton who is recognised for his work as a fund-raiser and anti-poverty activist.
Writing about Tendulkar's double century in a One Day International match, new age guru Deepak Chopra says: 'To millions of Indians and countless fans around the world, this act, which caps a career of record-breaking feats, arouses a sense of awe.'
'The Alchemist' is the favourite book of Time Alumnae Aishwarya, who lists 'certainly my mother and father' as the two people who had the most effect or influence on her.
Sixth placed among heroes, Perumalsamy Namperumalsamy, 70, was recognised for performing cataract surgery at the Aravind Eye Care Hospitals since 1976 and having treated 3.6 million surgeries to date - a new one every 15 minutes.
Indian entrepreneur Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw gets the 16th spot among 'heroes' for donating $2 million to support health insurance coverage for 100,000 Indian villagers and another $10 million for creating the 1,400-bed Mazumdar-Shaw Cancer Centre in Bangalore.
A paramedic from Toronto, Rahul Singh in 22nd place is recognised for his relief work in Haiti in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that hit the poor Caribbean nation Jan 12. In 1998, Singh founded GlobalMedic to provide disaster relief using volunteer professional emergency workers.
Chetan Bhagat, author of bestsellers, 'One Night @ the Call Centre' and 'Five Point Someone' is the lone Indian in the list of artists headed by extravagantly outfitted singer Lady Gaga.
'I've seen the effect Chetan has on his readers,' writes Academy Award winner Indian composer A.R. Rahman. 'He often writes about following your dreams and not bowing to others' expectations. That isn't easy in India, where family opinion matters and some professions are regarded as more serious than others.'
Economist Amartya Sen is 20th on the 'Thinkers' list. 'Occasionally loquacious, often ironic, usually genial, always brilliant,' Sen's notion of measuring human development is now central to the work of the UN and the World Bank, notes Harvard University history professor, Neil Ferguson.
Indian-American doctor and Harvard professor Atul Gwande is fifth on the list of 'thinkers' for his contribution to medicine. 'In this historic time for health policy, the need for smart, creative thinkers is greater than ever. Gawande certainly is one and it is equally certain his influence will grow,' wrote former US State Senator Tom Daschle.
Humanitarian worker, Sanjit Bunker Roy's Barefoot College has trained more than three million people for jobs in the modern world, in buildings so rudimentary they have dirt floors and no chairs, Time said. 'Roy combines humanitarianism, entrepreneurship and education to help people steer their own path out of poverty, fostering dignity and self-determination along the way,' it said.

Intimate Apparel- A brief overview

The Intimate Apparel Industry

Globally

Source: Google Search. *Based on sample size of 175,000

Designers and retailers

A number of major designer labels are renowned for their underwear collections, including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana. Likewise, specialist underwear brands such as 2(x)ist, C-IN2,  Ginch Gonch, Lord and Obviously are constantly emerging.
Specialist retailers of underwear include high street stores La Senza (Canada), Agent Provocateur (UK), Victoria's Secret (USA), and GapBody, the lingerie division of the Gap established in 1998 (USA). In 2008 Abercrombie & Fitch opened a new chain of stores, Gilly Hicks, to compete with other underwear retailers

Domestically

Overview

For years, purchasing of undergarments has been very standardized and behind closed doors with not much emphasis on fashion unlike west. Demand for mute colors eg White, black, skin and grey have been bought without any second thought.

Having said, the intimate apparel business in India off lately, has been witnessing demands for stylized offerings. Though still in a very nascent stage as far as style statement in intimate apparel is concerned, age old brands like VIP, Amul, Lux to name a few have positioned themselves categorically in the lower income segment of our society. The mid premium and premium grids are taken care by brands like Jockey, Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Levis, Calvin Klein, Playboy, Under Colors from Benetton etc. The first three cater to the mid premium, what follows later, cater to the super elite.

Retailing in India is still considered to be driven from unorganized sector which is expected to control approximately 96% of the market. The remaining comes from the organized sector which is primarily operated by players like Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Westside, Debenhams and Central-Future Group.

The major difference between the two is, the unorganized functions on outright basis i.e sale and purchase whereas the organized functions predominantly on consignment i.e sale and return; note: this may be variable depending on the brand, its volume generation etc.

A very accepted observation to which I too abide, Indian economy is like a glass of Champagne where the brim is fizzing out with prosperity and the base depreciates further deepening the financial crisis. The brim symbolizes the rich and the base symbolizes the poor. Interestingly, the chord symbolizes the middle class who are majors’ in middle-lower and upper-middle category. It is this section of the society that the companies like to focus since they are the real drivers of our economy and by far the potential consumer base for any brand.

Business

In the mid premium segment, jockey has categorically established itself as the most acceptable and recognized brand. It enjoys maximum brand loyalty both at consumption and distribution level. Other players in the same grid are Hanes and newly launched Fruit of the Loom, both of these brands hail from America and are recognized global

Jockey being present into India since 90’s always had the first movers’ advantage. Having a larger share of the men’s wear market it now plans to spread its wings to tier II and III cities. In this sphere jockey faces competition from its global competitor’s i.e. Hanes and Fruit.

In the women’s wear jockey shares space with brands like Lovable, Triumph and Enamor who have an expertise in catering to female demands and cater to mid premium and premium segment.

Jockey currently is present in 1600 stores across 1100 cities, a number which is surely envious and at the same time desirable for others.

For new entrants and recent brands business generation is not easy since it is such a kind of a commodity which one would not like to readily experiment with. Hence brands usually try to excite the distribution rather than the consumption lines by offering greater margins and promotional schemes. Such kind of business model is likely to grow in future as well creating a win-win situation for both the distributors and consumers with the option of multi brands. As for the new entrants, they get an equal opportunity to rub their shoulder with the more established brands.

The premium segment is disintegrated into many names, substantial numbers amongst them going to Levis because of its huge brand name.

Trends

Off lately, there has been a paradigm shift in taste and preferences of the consumer which earlier was quite standardized, now looks for vibrancy in offerings.

Earlier purchasing of undergarments was more of a quiet affair but with the surfacing of departmental stores it has become more experimental. The reason is being, modern point of sales offer affable shopping environment and flaunt western taste which always was extrovert.

To top it all, domestically we follow west and as the exodus of brains continue, more they get exposed to global tastes.

The same bug has affected the buying behavior for intimates as well. More often now brands come out with various stylized offerings to attract youngsters. India being a young nation has also spurred off such a shift in preference an d it cuts across all product grids, be it from innerwear to outerwear, household items and you name anything.

To conclude, buying patterns are changing considerably with brands moving into the groove to satisfy the demands.

What's Wrong With Knight Riders...

Started on a winning note, somehow KKR has lost its way to finish well and win games. They should understand that 20-20 cricket and that too IPL, a commercial pot boiler for players involved,  rates of each individual appreciates and depreciates according to the performance. Sourav as usual, a crafty skipper is lacking on execution level which bring him to a loose ground, thus effecting his leadership skills and authority within the group. He needs to first get his record play correct, which in turn i feel consolidate his ground to dictate terms to his team members.
Hope Dada does well today. My heart goes out for SRK's KKR.

Disintegration of India

Dear All,

This is regarding the recent happenings concerning the formation of 'Telangana'. Quoting the subject of this article it's an issue to ponder upon, the merits and demerits of such fragmentation.

Let me now cue you, to the formation of Uttaranchal, being a part of Uttar Pradesh, the region was more or less being neglected which i have to believe upon looking at the developments made now.

Surely, disintegration reduces the chain of command and hastens the efforts for the beneficiaries.
The only disadvantage which i believe will be the excessive operational costs to run such units.
Obviously, on a macro level corruption cannot be written off, as for what happened in the case of Jharkhand and the great cheat Mr. Madhukoda.
Having said, keeping aside the monetary and treachery perspective, i feel that fragmentation of states bring along a more concentrated effort towards burgeoning the development of the concerned.
Rather i would suggest, a country's administration should be a replica of an MNC; i.e bestowing those with the responsibilities for change who are the locals of the geography, having similar interest and understanding the needs of the people.

India, deserves to be a more developed state and the responsibility lies in our hand to make a difference.

Would appreciate your comments on the same. Lets be a part of the change!!

Thank You.

Chinese Malicious Advancements.

Offlately, i've been really concerned with the news reports showcasing china's geogarphical moves around the indian land and sea jurisdictions. As an indian it makes me very concerned with what has been happening in the same context and saddened with the reactions from our political leadership along with the beaureaucracy involved. Though it is hard to believe in case of actual war if at all it takes place we will be destroyed, but having said that the very thought of war with china cues me to an insecure zone irrespective of the fact that we too possess mandatory second strike capabilities. I would request the media agencies to get back in touch with the concerned ministries for apt replies to the same concerns which i assume would be of every native of this country. The first and formost question arises as to why china is willing to scare india with its complex moves both on military and political level. Where on political side they assure us of resolving all disputed issues and on the other make a mockery of the actual line of defence of our country. If in case i believe media reports and abide by their inferences then my friends the near future is very petrifying.
Having said that, i request and hope our leadership to come out with a strong statement that would come across as an apt reply to the chinese intervention in the subcontinent.
